How FUZE Is Different

The FUZE Media System was specifically designed not just for reliability and ease-of-use, but also for ease-of-installation. The FUZE system is configured, not programmed, which means that dealers need only specify names, zones, and individual source and room levels. And, monitoring the system is as easy as installation: FUZE offers FuzeTrace, a system that enables FUZE to remotely monitor the health of our customers’ systems, thereby anticipating system issues and preventing costly service visits.

Furthermore, our network design improves reliability: It is a specifically implemented, protected environment that uses a high-end Cisco 800 series router. This system design prevents harmful data from coming in contact with the FUZE environment—while at the same time ensuring QoS (Quality of Service) that up until now only enterprise businesses could come to expect.

Finally, installers get the benefit of having all of a home’s media in digital formats. This removes the need to convert one video format to another, or to glue different components together. Everything resides in the digital domain—with one common interface and one common data transport—which enables the entire system to be networked on only one wire.
